What are Your Pet Peeves?

Earlier in the week, I received an email requesting a post about sitting room side tables. The reason behind the request: they found it frustrating as a guest, to not have anywhere to put their drink. It got me thinking.

Are our homes the best, most comfortable they can be? 

It's easy to get 'home blind', so often the best way to refine our home is to hear what other people miss when they come to visit.  

I know we're a little (OK, VERY) out of practise when it comes to entering each other's homes - even so, when I asked friends and family for their pet peeves, the list was long (and often very funny)!

Examples included: getting pet fur all over their clothes (while making the mistake of wearing black!), having nowhere to hang their coat in the hallway and not knowing whether they should take their shoes off or not. My sister also mentioned 'men walking around in their smalls' (not sure who she's been hanging out with?!). 

So today, I thought I'd throw it out there:  

What are your pet peeves (find irritating) when you visit the homes of others?

I'll be taking note so that I can become the best hosts ever when this pandemic blows over. In the meantime, our homes might just become that little more 'hyggeligt'!
